From the Israeli Flamenco Band
Artistic Director: Michal Nathan
In this show, flamenco wears a contemporary, contemporary "suit" – coming out of tradition and still having a lot of respect for it.
The traditional guitar and vocals combine with electronic music and are performed live together on stage.
The sandy language of flamenco in the show is enriched with the language of other dance genres that exist in Spanish dance – Spanish folklore such as the 'Hota', which comes from the Argon region and the Basque Country
AND THE ESCUELAA BOLERA – THE SPANISH CLASSICAL BALLET OF THE 17TH AND 18TH CENTURIES.
The show consists of 4 acts, with each act dealing with a group of flamenco rhythms and receiving its own special characterization.
The show presents a natural evolutionary process, which should take place in art. It serves the fruits of curiosity and passion to experiment and explore.
Breaking the boundaries is the result. It is neither the goal nor the result of rebellion.
Breaking boundaries while giving a lot of respect to tradition
